I was clicking about one day trying to find some kawaii gifts for Marceline‘s birthday, and came across these amazing plush envelopes by My Paper Crane but unfortunately they weren’t available to buy at the time.
Cursing my misfortune, I then found this brilliant tutorial by LucyKate Crafts and she made it look so easy I decided to make my own cute plushy envelope!
The grey one is my prototype and the blue one is the final version I sent to Marcy. I added a felt ‘stamp’ to the front and lined it with cute bunny fabric I got in Tokyo. I think she likes it!
*Many thanks to the very talented ladies at My Paper Crane and MaryKate Crafts*

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I need an envelope like this with a silly face to serve as the mascot for our campus post office. Would you consider making one just for me? We would be glad to pay you.
Please let me know

Hi – thanks for your comment about my felt envelopes but I’m afraid I don’t do custom orders. The lady who has this shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/mypapercrane also does felt envelopes and may be willing to make you one. Or you could even try making your own using this tutorial http://lucykatecrafts.blogspot.com/2009/02/love-letter-for-valentine-tutorial-and.html – just cut out an envelope shape from felt and use glue if you’re no good at sewing!
Sorry I can’t help you & hope you find what you’re looking for.
All the best,
Nic (jiji~punch)
