My eye has recently gone a bit icky – nothing serious, just a bit red & dry – and my optometrist friend suggested I could patch it if I wanted to give it a rest. So I put my crafty skills to good use & made a kawaii eyepatch!

I used Aranzi Aronzo‘s Haha Bunny to decorate it as she’s so cute & happy, she’s bound to cheer me up ^_^

Fishy

This is my goldfish who sadly died at the weekend. I had him for 18 years which is pretty impressive for a goldfish & he will be sorely missed.

You may remember the Panda Bunny I made for Marcy last year, “inspired” by the Usacolle bunnies. Well Vanessa Kinder loved it so much her boyfriend had this amazing Panda Bunny cake made for her by Miami Specialty Cakes. It truly is the most awesome cake I have ever seen! I love how they’ve even iced the mouth like its been stitched 🙂

I’m off on my holidays next week but, before I go, I wanted to unveil my new kawaii cards! They feature a brown bunny holding a red balloon and a grey kitty with a blue kite. The cards are made with felt, hand sewn onto white deckle-edged blanks and are super-cute!

Happy 2009!

I realise it’s a tad late to be posting about Christmas but I thought I’d mention some of the lovely handmade & kawaii presents I received. They really cheered me up and took my mind off the horrible cough I’ve had FOREVER!

These beautiful earrings were a gift from Marcy and were made especially for me by her friend Tracey who looked at my Etsy favourites and noticed I like stars and blue! They are perfect.
